About our Course
Our IGCSE History course offers total flexibility to students by allowing them to start at any time and study fully online. The goal of the course is to give students with the knowledge and abilities necessary for a job in history or for future study in the field.
Every subject includes hours of guided online instruction along with optional readings, activities, digital resources, and self-test assignments.
You will be tested in person at an exam center through written exams in order to receive your IGCSE qualification.
After finishing the course, you’ll obtain an IGCSE in History, which will have you ready for advancement to A Levels, further education, careers in science, or pursuing a Level 3 degree.
Throughout the course, you’ll have access to various support resources, including webinars, social learning forums, and additional materials to enhance your learning experience.
Assessments
To sit an IGCSE exam, start by locating a centre in your country that accepts private candidates. Register with them once you have found a suitable centre and pay any necessary fees.
Before the exams, ensure that your statement of entry is accurate and bring valid identification to each exam. Maintain communication with the centre or exam provider for any exam-related inquiries, including special access arrangements.
After the exams, inform the centre or exam provider if you need any special consideration. Collect your results and certificates from them, and if necessary, request reviews of marking or appeals through the centre or exam provider.

Course Content
All students study Core content in either:
Option A
The Nineteenth Century:
the development of modern nation-states, 1848–1914
or:
Option B
The twentieth century:
international relations since 1919.
In addition, all students must also study at least one of the Depth studies.
The Core content and Depth studies are structured around a series of key questions, focus points, and specified content:
- Key questions define the over-arching issues.
- Focus points identify the issues that enable students to gain an understanding of the key question.
- Specified content provides guidance on what needs to be studied for each key question.
Students will be expected to demonstrate an understanding of the key questions using knowledge of relevant historical examples
