The RCA’s historic Kensington campus is situated in the heart of London’s cultural district, adjacent to landmarks such as the Victoria and Albert Museum, Imperial College, and Hyde Park. This iconic campus features the Modernist Darwin Building, designed by H.T. Cadbury Brown and named after the post-war Rector Robin Darwin. It also houses the RCA’s extensive Library, including Special Collections and the Colour Reference Library, as well as the Technical Services resources and the Student Support services.

In the 2023/24 academic year, Kensington hosts a range of programs including Architecture MA, City Design MA, Curating Contemporary Art MA, Fashion MA, and many others. The RCA’s Battersea campus, which has been part of the College for over 25 years, has recently undergone significant redevelopment. With exceptional funding from the UK Government, a new flagship building has been constructed, marking a significant phase in the College’s history. This new building, designed by Herzog & de Meuron, supports a range of programs including Arts & Humanities MPhil/PhD, Computer Science MPhil/PhD, and Innovation Design Engineering MA/MSc, among others. It also houses Research Centres focused on Intelligent Mobility, Robotics, Material Futures, and the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design and Innovation. The expansion of Battersea reflects RCA’s commitment to integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) in its curriculum.

The White City campus, the newest addition to RCA’s facilities, is located in the BBC Media Village and offers state-of-the-art studio, workshop, and technical spaces. This campus enhances the College’s cultural offerings, providing opportunities for collaborations, exhibitions, and events. It supports programs such as Animation MA, Communication MFA, and Information Experience Design MA, among others.
