We at the University of Cumbria are committed to helping you prepare for your future profession. With solid ties to the community’s legal firms, police departments, youth centers, NHS Trusts, universities, colleges, and working artists, we give you the tools you need to succeed in the working world.

As members of the Cathedrals Group, we think that education ought to serve a higher purpose by encouraging inclusivity, fairness, and a comprehensive approach to both professional and personal development. Our program is based on research, so you can be sure to acquire the newest technological skills and realize your full potential. It makes sense that, within 15 months of graduating, 92% of our alumni either obtain job or continue their education.

We have a strong sense of community involvement and support events like the Young Care Leavers program, as well as charitable organizations and regional festivals. Because of our commitment to inclusivity, we encourage all of our members of staff, students, and visitors to be real. This helps to create a community where diversity is valued and everyone has a sense of belonging.

The University of Cumbria is committed to promoting equality and goes above and above the requirements of the Equality Act 2010 in order to fulfill its role as change agents. We guarantee a secure and encouraging atmosphere for everyone by not tolerating any kind of harassment, bullying, or discrimination.

A significant component of the academic experience is living in our residence halls. There are a variety of housing options available in Lancaster, Carlisle, and Ambleside to suit every budget, whether you choose independent living or on-campus lodging. We offer 40-week contracts for students studying the arts, business, industry & leadership, and science & environment, and 42-week contracts for those studying health and education, depending on the length of your program. Christmas and Easter are not when you have to leave your accommodation, and we can typically prolong contracts through the summer.

The University of Cumbria is renowned for its picturesque campuses, located in some of the most beautiful areas of the UK, including the stunning Lake District. With a focus on sustainability and environmental stewardship, Cumbria is the perfect place for students who appreciate natural beauty and want to contribute to preserving it.

Join us at the University of Cumbria and become part of a vibrant, inclusive community where your aspirations can soar and your potential can be fully realized. Your future starts here!
