Modern Learning Environments
Our campus is equipped with top-tier facilities to enhance your educational experience. The Waterfront Building serves as the hub of our main campus in Ipswich, featuring a large auditorium, lecture rooms, study spaces, and a café. The James Hehir Building houses advanced clinical skills and sports laboratories, as well as specialist bioscience teaching areas. The Arts Building is dedicated to humanities subjects, with industry-standard studios for Architecture, Art, Graphic Design, Film, and Photography. The Atrium, home to our Innovation Labs (iLabs), offers cutting-edge technology and labs for STEM subjects like Psychology, Games Design, and Software Engineering. Additionally, the Library Building provides a range of learning resources and social spaces, including the Students’ Union offices and SU campus shop.
Supportive Student Services
We prioritize your well-being and academic success through comprehensive student support services. The Student Life team offers free, impartial advice and guidance, including workshops, employer talks, and fairs. You can access these services through various formats such as in-person meetings, video calls, emails, and chats. We understand that starting university can be overwhelming, so we are here to support you every step of the way, including assistance with finding and securing suitable accommodation.
Accommodation and Future Readiness
Choosing the right accommodation is a crucial part of your university experience. While we do not dictate where you live, we provide detailed information and recommendations about on-campus and accredited off-campus housing options. For those starting in September, applying for on-campus accommodation by the end of June is advised. We also offer support for securing off-campus accommodation within walking distance of the campus and local amenities. Our focus extends beyond just your studies; we embed employability, enterprise, and entrepreneurship into the curriculum, ensuring you are well-prepared for your future career. Our award-winning Careers, Employability, and Enterprise Team provides extensive resources and connections to help you explore and shape your career path from day one.
