Hi, my name is Karolina Chmara
I am Certified
British Council Agent Counsellor.
I am a graduate of a British university, an entrepreneur, and the founder of UNIQ Study Hub ®. For 7 years, I have specialised in higher education applications, obtaining Student Finance England funding, and providing career advice. I also collaborate with visa lawyers (OISC). I am familiar with procedures that shorten the admission process to universities and other educational institutions. As a result, you will receive quick and comprehensive assistance. I will create an action plan for you so that after completing courses or studies, you will be in high demand in the job market. Let employers compete for you (and not the other way around!). Remember! Your education impacts your future, as well as the future of your children.

Collaboration Process
Initial Consultation
During the free consultation, we will talk about you. The principle is simple: you talk, I listen. Based on your needs, I will present an initial proposal for the next steps.
Education and Career Plan
The plan may include courses, a chosen undergraduate program, transfer options after a foundation year, scenarios for internships, placements, master’s studies, and further career development.
Document Preparation
Preparation includes gathering documents, verifying their correctness, a portfolio preparation session, preparing an academic CV, and a convincing personal statement.
Additional Matters
Do you need a sworn translation? Do you need a student visa (for international students)? Would you like to add student insurance? Be sure to inform us about these needs.
University Admissions
We submit documents to the university. We offer over 50 schools accepting British residents, as well as all universities in the UK, USA, Ireland, and Canada for visa students.
English Assessment
We know all the ins and outs of language tests. During an individual session (1 hour), we will prepare you for the language test. Some programs (e.g., nursing) also require a faculty interview. We will go through this together.
Tracking Progress
When you apply with us, you get the ability to track your application, add and improve documents during the admission process. We are available for you 7 days a week.
Student Finance England
We start the second process, which is obtaining funding. Tuition Fee and Maintenance Loan are student loans that will combine into one after graduation. You will start repaying the loan only if you start earning over £25,000 per year.
Grants & Tracking
Based on your individual situation, we will select grants (non-repayable allowances for parents, caregivers, disabled persons, or medical students). We monitor the status of your funding application for the next 6 months.
Types of Funding and Grants. Everything You Need to Know.
More and more students are deciding to pay part or all of their tuition fees from their own savings. We will help you plan such expenses, advise you on how to talk to the school about installment payments, and present further possibilities.
One of the main forms of support offered by Student Finance England is the tuition fee loan. This loan is available to most students and is used to cover tuition fees (typically £9,250). Students do not have to start repaying the tuition fee loan until they reach a certain income threshold, which is currently £26,575 per year (2023). The loan is written off after 40 years. With a tuition fee loan, students can focus on their studies without worrying about the financial burden associated with the course. REMEMBER: 300,000 people pay over £30,000 for studies in the UK each year (tuition + living costs). Take advantage of this opportunity.
This loan aims to help students cover costs such as rent, meals, and course-related expenses. The student's household income, type of course, place of study, and whether you study full-time or online affect the amount awarded. To support students' financial needs during their studies, the maintenance loan can be combined with other student funding sources. To receive a maintenance loan, you must work during your studies. - The maximum maintenance loan in London is £13,500. - Outside London, it is £9,500.
The childcare grant is a type of financial aid awarded to eligible students with dependents, aimed at helping cover childcare costs. This grant does not need to be repaid and is intended for students who would otherwise be unable to continue their education due to childcare costs. To qualify for the childcare grant, students must be enrolled in a full-time degree, receive the standard tuition fee for students, and be responsible for covering at least half of the childcare costs. The amount awarded depends on the number of dependents and the cost of their care. For students with dependents, the childcare grant can significantly reduce their financial burden.
The Parental Learning Allowance (PLA) is a type of financial aid offered by Student Finance England for full-time students who are parents. It is intended to help cover additional expenses related to education, such as childcare and travel costs. The amount of PLA support is determined based on the student's household income and individual circumstances; this aid does not need to be repaid. Students eligible for PLA must have dependents, be engaged in at least 25 hours of study per week, and receive financial support from Student Finance England. Utilizing these funds can ease the financial stress associated with raising children while pursuing higher education, which can be a valuable resource for parents doing so.
The Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA) is a type of financial support offered by Student Finance England to help full-time students with disabilities cover additional costs related to their studies. This benefit is intended to cover expenses for equipment, support services, and other disability-related costs, such as additional travel expenses. The amount awarded from DSA is based on an assessment of the student's individual needs and does not need to be repaid. To be eligible for DSA, students must have a disability or long-term health condition that affects their ability to study, be enrolled in a higher education program, and receive financial support from Student Finance England. Leveling the playing field and enabling students with disabilities to focus on their education can be crucial with this funding. Utilizing these funds can also ease the financial stress associated with combining parenthood with higher education, which can be a valuable resource for parents doing so.
The Special Support Loan is intended for disabled students, care leavers, and those with dependents, offering additional financial support to help cover course and living costs.
For students who have an adult family member dependent on them requiring support in daily life due to chronic illness or disability, such as a spouse, partner, or elderly parent, Student Finance England offers the Adult Dependant Grant. This grant does not need to be repaid and is intended to help with additional expenses.
The NHS Bursary provides financial support for medical and dental students in England.
