The level 4 modules and assignments in this course correspond to the first year of a university degree, while the level 5 modules and tasks correspond to the second year.

The online level 4 and level 5 diplomas in eCommerce and information technology each include 10 courses and 6 written assignments at the level 4, and 6 modules and 6 written assignments at the level 5, respectively. The certification is worth 240 credits. The course aims to equip you with the necessary skills to pursue an undergraduate degree, a full degree, and a career as an IT professional. About our Course

It’s becoming more and more crucial for retailers and eCommerce businesses to understand how to optimize and market their websites to improve site views and revenues as the number of people shopping online rises and the number of online stores keeps growing.

The first year of a university degree is equal to the level 4 modules and assignments in this course, while the second year is equal to the level 5 modules and assignments.

A 240-credit certification, the online level 4 and level 5 diplomas in information technology and eCommerce each feature 10 courses and 6 written assignments at the level 4 and 6 modules and 6 written assignments at the level 5, respectively. The goal of the course is to give you the tools you need to pursue an undergraduate degree all the way up to a full degree and become an IT professional. Students will have access to a range of support resources during the course, such as webinars and tutor support, a social learning forum, and extra materials to aid in finishing their diploma course.

This course is eligible for ELCAS funding.

To enrol onto the level 4 course, you must be at least 18 and have a full secondary education. Before enroling on to the level 5 course, you must complete the level 4 or equivalent.

Computer programming

Relational database systems

Software engineering

Students will acquire knowledge about the various approaches and strategies used in software engineering as well as the necessity for it.

Systems analysis and design

Understanding IS concepts and how they relate to organizational needs for information transformation and business processes is provided by this module.

E- commerce applications

This subject examines the function of e-commerce in the contemporary world, with a focus on identifying goals and objectives within an organization and the design challenges that result from defining specifications.

Human computer interaction

IT and society

C#.NET Programming

The goal of this course is to introduce students to the fundamental ideas and ideas of C# ASP.NET programming. This will help students comprehend how to use server side programming approaches to construct dynamic web sites.

 

System Administration

The knowledge required to administer a Windows and Linux system is the goal of this unit. User and group management, file system management, task automation, shell scripting, mail servers, domain name servers, files and printer sharing, registry, basic utilities and tools, application management, local and group policies, backup policies, restore policies, and performance tuning are among the topics covered.

Business to Consumer (B2C) E-commerce

The goal of this subject is to give students an understanding of business-to-consumer e-commerce. This covers the ideas and methods utilized in marketing psychology, mobile e-commerce and ticketing, artificial intelligence (AI) for picture recognition, and social commerce.

Business to Business (B2B) E-commerce

The goal of this subject is to familiarize students with business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce. This covers supply chain management, online transaction processing, electronic funds transfers (EFT), electronic data interchange (EDI), and inventory management systems.

Assignments

Each level of the Qualifi level 4/5 IT and E-commerce course consists of six written assignments. Each assignment is between two and three thousand words long. Students can access the ‘Tutor’ part of the learning portal to receive assistance with the courses and assignments.
