About our Course
The IT and networking diploma program is unquestionably something you should think about if you want to make your love of computers your career.
The first year of a university degree is equal to the level 4 modules and assignments in this course, while the second year is equal to the level 5 modules and assignments.
Our 240-credit online diploma programs in information technology, level 4 and level 5, each consist of 10 modules and 6 written assignments at level 4 and 6 modules and 6 written assignments at level 5. The goal of the course is to give you the tools you need to finish your undergraduate degree and pursue a career in network and infrastructure management in the information technology industry. Students will have access to a range of support resources during the course, such as webinars and tutor support, a social learning forum, and extra materials to aid in finishing their diploma course.

Computer systems and software

Computer programming

Relational database systems
Students’ knowledge of database systems, data analysis, and modeling will grow as a result of this unit.
Software engineering
Students will acquire knowledge about the various approaches and strategies used in software engineering as well as the necessity for it.
Systems analysis and design
Understanding IS concepts and how they relate to organizational needs for information transformation and business processes is provided by this module.
E- commerce applications
This subject examines the function of e-commerce in the contemporary world, with a focus on identifying goals and objectives within an organization and the design challenges that result from defining specifications.
Human computer interaction
In order to assist students plan their own multimedia user interface prototype, this module will help them gain a better knowledge of human computer interaction models and concepts. It will also assess current HCI design and principles.
IT and society
This module looks at how technology has affected society and looks at the patterns and modifications that have been made. It will look at possible conflicts between security and data management, as well as management challenges.
Information systems theory and practice
This subject examines project management components that are essential to the creation and execution of certain IT projects.
Management information systems
Understanding information systems concepts and how they meet business goals in terms of data processing and information processing is the main goal of this module.

Network security
The objective of this course is to equip students with knowledge about typical security incident detection and prevention techniques as well as network security challenges in networked environments.
C#.NET Programming
The goal of this course is to introduce students to the fundamental ideas and ideas of C# ASP.NET programming. This will help students comprehend how to use server side programming approaches to construct dynamic web sites.
System Administration
The knowledge required to administer a Windows and Linux system is the goal of this unit. User and group management, file system management, task automation, shell scripting, mail servers, domain name servers, files and printer sharing, registry, basic utilities and tools, application management, local and group policies, backup policies, restore policies, and performance tuning are among the topics covered.
Network Routing and Switching
The purpose of this unit is to impart the information and abilities required for switching as well as routing, specifically how to set up and configure switches and routers to connect multiple areas of a network. The course covers routing and switching in computer networks, including Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), and Router Information Protocol (RIP).
Network Design and Administration
The information and abilities needed to enable learners to design a network—that is, how to scale and link many networks to form an efficient interconnecting network—are the main goals of this course. It addresses challenges with network performance, gathering requirements for the network, and hierarchical network design.
Assignments
The Qualifi level 4/5 IT and networking course is made up of 6 written assignments at each level. The assignments are approximately 2,000-3,000 words each. Students are provided support on the modules and assignments via the ‘Tutor’ section of the learning platform.
