Our 120-credit online computer technology diploma program’s Level 4 modules and assignments are equivalent to a university degree’s first year. Ten courses and six written assignments are included in each level. This program’s main goal is to give you the tools you need to pursue an undergraduate degree and a career in information technology.

About our Course

The Level 4 modules and assignments in our 120-credit online information technology diploma program equate to the first year of a university degree. Each level includes 10 courses and 6 written assignments. The primary objective of this program is to equip you with essential skills for pursuing an undergraduate degree and a career in information technology.

Throughout the course, students will have access to various support resources, including webinars, tutor assistance, a social learning forum, and supplementary materials designed to facilitate completion of the diploma course.

This course is eligible for ELCAS funding.

To enrol onto the level 4 course, you must be at least 18 and have a full secondary education

Course Content

Computer systems and software

The integration of hardware and software components will be better understood by learners after completing this subject.

Computer programming

The system life cycle will be followed by learners as they develop, implement, and test programs using a variety of tools and methodologies.

Relational database systems

Students’ knowledge of database systems, data analysis, and modeling will grow as a result of this unit.

Software engineering

Students will acquire knowledge about the various approaches and strategies used in software engineering as well as the necessity for it.

Systems analysis and design

Understanding IS concepts and how they relate to organizational needs for information transformation and business processes is provided by this module.

E- commerce applications

This subject examines the function of e-commerce in the contemporary world, with a focus on identifying goals and objectives within an organization and the design challenges that result from defining specifications.

Human computer interaction

In order to assist students plan their own multimedia user interface prototype, this module will help them gain a better knowledge of human computer interaction models and concepts. It will also assess current HCI design and principles.

IT and society

This module looks at how technology has affected society and looks at the patterns and modifications that have been made. It will look at possible conflicts between security and data management, as well as management challenges.

Information systems theory and practice

This subject examines project management components that are essential to the creation and execution of certain IT projects.

Management information systems

Understanding information systems concepts and how they meet business goals in terms of data processing and information processing is the main goal of this module.
